Alguns desenhos saem melhor que outros, saem sem hesitação, não precisam de linhas preparatórias, saem em movimentos rápidos e produzem desenhos sem rigidez e sem as amarras da construção anatómica tradicional. Esses desenhos são o fruto de chispas de inspiração que se extinguem tão depressa como aparecem, depois, resta a velha metodologia que está lá sempre para confortar e apoiar mas que nunca satisfaz por completo.

Some drawings come out better than others, with no hesitation, they don't need prep work, they come out in quick movements and don't have the rigidity induced by the stringency of traditional anatomical rules. Those drawings are the product of sparks of inspiration that disappear as quickly as they appear but the old methods of drawing will always be there for solace and support even if they never fully satisfy.
